Hari ini, Kelas 3 mempelajari tentang bunyi-bunyi binatang. Ini adalah suara-suara binatang yang kami temukan:

Singa: mengaum.

Reflection about the Cup-a-phone

Today at UOI, I had a marvelous time. In this inquiry, we had to make an experiment called a cup-a-phone. I had a wonderful partner, Tiana. We need 2 plastic cups and a piece of string. Next, we need to make a small hole in both cups by using a compass. Afterwards, we put the string through the small holes on the cups. We tied lots of loops to make it strong. Now, we are ready to experience our innovation, the cup-a-phone.

I went to the atrium to try the cup-a-phone. At the beginning, it didn't work because we need to make sure that the string must be very tight. Sometimes, the cup-a-phone wasn't easy to make.

When I created the cup-a-phone, I was thrilled and curious. I wanted to know how can the sound travel through the string from one cup to another cup.
I had a fascinating time with Tiana.

I showed that I was caring and communicative. Tiana and I worked well together as a team.

Perang Lumpur Di Taman Buah Mekarsari!

Pada tanggal 27 April 2007 yang lalu, saya dan teman- teman pergi ke Taman Buah Mekarsari. Saya sangat gembira waktu saya tiba di sana. Tempat itu sangat luas. Kami pergi ke "Family Garden" yang ada di Taman Buah itu.

Salah satu aktivitas yang saya kerjakan adalah perang lumpur. Saya senang sekali! Lumpurnya kelihatan seperti kopi busuk. Baunya seperti coklat busuk dicampur dengan air kotor. Wow!!!! Sebelum saya memasuki lumpur di sawah yang ada disana, saya sangat tegang! Akhirnya, saya memasuki lumpur. Rasanya seperti menginjak bubur yang sudah lama tidak dimakan. Selanjutnya, kita menanam padi. Setelah selesai menanam padi , salah seorang guruku, Mrs.Jane, melempar lumpur kemudian diikuti oleh teman-teman saya. Mereka saling melempar lumpur satu sama lain. Akhirnya, saya juga ikutan. Saya mendengar teman - teman saya berteriak sambil tertawa. Kami semua merasa senang.

Kita semua terlihat kotor kecuali seorang guruku yang lain yaitu Ibu Shirley. Temanku, Natasha mendorong Ibu Shirley. Ibu Shirley akhirnya juga menjadi kotor.

Setelah perang lumpur itu selesai, seluruh badan kita tertutup dengan lumpur wow! Lalu kita semua membersihkan badan kita yang diikuti dengan acara makan siang dan bermain. Wah, hari itu memang seru!! Saya sangat senang!!

The things that can pollute the environment are transportation and smoke from the factories.

What can you do as Grade 3 students to prevent that happened?

We as Grade 3 students can stop the air pollution by minimizing using vehicles and planting more trees.

What is mud?

?

Mud is liquid that is mixed with water, soil and slit. Mud is like mucks.

Some of the mud is dangerous. They can cause disasters.

One of them is called mud volcano. It was also know as a "sedimentary volcanoes” or a “gas oil volcanoes.

The mud volcano is usually cold. A mud volcano can only be found in places with rich oils and natural gas. The trees or plantations will grow very healthy around the mud volcano area. Mud volcanoes also can be found at the floor of the sea.

Another mud that can cause traffic will be a clay mud. The transportation will be easily trapped there.

This is another dangerous mud happened in Sidoarjo, East Java. It was known as Lumpur Lapindo. This mud is very dangerous, poisonous and hot. People can easily die living near the area. This mud still comes out beneath the earth. The experts do not know what to do to stop the mud.
